Plato's Promise: A Woodland Tale.

    Several years ago I awoke from a dream in a fit of laughter. The dream was a cartoon about a little duck learning to fly and, let's just say, things didn't work out well for the little fellow. I laughed off and on for days and couldn't get the images of that dream out of my head.

    Finally, I decided to write the story down in an effort to purge it from my thoughts. Eighteen months later my first novel was written. The story does not incorporate the dream I had but it does capture the spirit of the little duck. I was reading Greek and Roman philosophy at the time and some of the values, life lessons, and insight to human nature are captured in what I believe is a unique and enlightening book.
